CHV Lives On

EVERYONE loves FF.. they think that Squaresoft is a MAD company just becoz of FF.. as I get deeper into CC, im finding it way more appealing than FF7/8/9... storywise- lets just say that it actually DOES have an interesting story.. unlike SOME RpG's that I could mention.. it draws u in and really forces u to play it more to find out what happens..
Also, there are so many different paths u can take! unlike the extrememly linear FF, doing different things will actually CHANGE the story! *gasps* unheard of?!! but true.. new characters are decided by ur own decisions, i think there's about 42 characters in CC? (correct me if im wrong) each with different attributes and personalities.. what else can i say? Chrono Cross was more than just pretty pictures and FMV scenes, im sorry but graphics really dont make a game.. it bugs me when ppl rave on and on about certain 'scenes' in games instead of focusing on the actual playability (

Though that Squaresoft is a mad maker of Final Fantasies.......I heard that they're gonna stop at FF12.

As long as they're still making money, I see no reason why the'd stop. This is the franchise that turned a dying company into what it is today, and I doubt they'll stop when each new game outsells the previous one.

Yeah, the Final Fantasy series will always be Squaresoft's most profitable franchise. It continually sells far more than it's brothers and sisters, like Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story. This annoys somewhat. Games like Vagrant Story and Xenogears, which offer so much innovation and originality, aren't given the praise they deserve.

It really does bug u yeah? when everyone goes on and on about a game that really is showing its age and lacking (slightly) in imagination? hrmzz.. FF just has so many fans, there never will be a 'Final' Fantasy.. hehehe

Okay, forget what I said in the last post.......I kinda got confused with the title "Not-So Final Fantasy" and "The World of Final Fantasy XI"(this one links of from the first one) article's in FFOnline.com. Thought it said on the second article that Sqauresoft might stop at FF12 cuz of all the Final Fantasy's that are out there, but it sad that "many fan's believed that FF11(or i think was FF12) is going to be the "Final" Fantasy.
