Little help for a little girl here. You do not mind helping out lil girls do you?
Because FF9 has way to much text for my brian to handle, I skiped it all... I am stuck at hte point where you bring the garnet (HoMLess is what I named her) back to that town you where suppossed to in the first. After you talk to Vivi (MANhole), and ofer him a tour (but was refused), where do you go? I run around the town doing nothing.

Lindblum? The place is massive, and you should just exploreexploreexplore if you want to, grab some items in the Industrial District, talk to the crew in the Theater District, see all the ATEs, etc...
As I said before, Lindblum is huge, and there are many secrets. If all you want is to progress in the game, go to the Tantalus hideout in Theater District, watch the ATE, and then head for the Castle. It's all linear from there.

Ok, I started a new game... I am on the 3rd disc now.... I played stright thru the night non-stop.... so I amgetting somewhere.... I am now at the part where I got to find those 3 thingys so that Cidguy can become human... I still skiped the chatter and have no Idea what is going now...

Finding the three items is really easy. Just talk to everybody. Cinna has one potion, the item shop girl wearing pink/white has another potion, and I think the artist guy has the last potion.

Well, I never started yet. soon as I got to there I stop becuase I was bored. So thanks for the locations. Now I won't have any problems finding it when I do play.

I am on the 4th disc. Can someone tell me how the hell do I get a sommon? The little brat and Garnet are so god-damn useless. They are so weak, and get killed everytime I take them into battle (no matter how hard i try to protect them). I only use Zidane, that ratgirl, The flamming (what was his real name) POON, rusty. I use offfensive attacks ONLY. And I am doing just fine, do you really need Garnet's sommons, and Vivi magic?

How do you get Garnet's summons? You mean you don't have any? Any of the stones (emeralds, diamonds, etc) equipped as add-ons usually give a eidolon ability. The ones you really should get (for Garnet) are Atomos and Ark, because they can do 9999 damage. Atomos' damage depends on how many amethysts you have in your inventory, so get as many as possible.
The only good thing I found with Eiko is her Full-Life spell, but I hardly ever used it anyway. I didn't use Vivi much, didn't use him in the final battle or anything, because I had more powerful characters.
It's good to have either Dagger or Eiko in your party because then you have someone to cast Curaga on everybody (press R1 to select all members). I can't say I ever had a problem with them dying. Maybe that's because I tend to spend 90% of the time levelling them up...- Min

Well, in ff9, leveling is almost a MUST (in ff8, it is best to try and get to the forth disc at about level 20).
Oh those, things.... Well.... Becuse I NEVER sold any of my (old) items, I had a $#!T load of them, and when I was at the mog near the end of the 3rd disc, I did not have enough for all those... so I kind of sold all those gem thingys. O well, my offensive team rules. Average about 4000 a hit. I just hold down the X button when in battle. And if I get tired, I use Luna (or whatever it is called).
