1. Why did the alien spaceships crash? (see pub50.ezboard.com/fchvliv...=695.topic )
2. Who here thought the plot was a complete rip/spin-off of FFVII?
3. How do you kill alien ghosts? They're already dead.
4. Does anyone in the movie, aside from Aki Ross, have a first AND last name?
5. Why, if the Zeus cannon was hyped in the beginning as an Armageddon machine of death, couldn't it destroy a single measly unshielded transportation vehicle when it was aimed directly at it?

I thought it was a bit based on 7, but that doesn't mean it's bad or anything. As for the other stuff, well damn you got me...
Also, is it just me or did general Hien look a hell of a lot like an older Siefer with darker hair. And am I the only one who thinks that Grey looks like an older Ben Affleck?

Here's what I think, yes it did seem to be a total spinoff of Final Fantasy VII with the meteor, the cannon, and even the lifestream. To me General Hein did look a lot like an old Siefer, and Grey kinda did have a bit of a Ben Affleck look. Shooting dead ghosts is pretty confusing, because it doesn't seem realistic or possible. I guess that's Hollywood for ya though, the more guns the more glory...

No, they are all "Guy Who dies 1st" "...2nd" "...3rd" and so on.

Chocobos aren't supposed to be manning death guns. Thats why this FF movie failed so much. All the chocobos and mogs were ill suited for their roles in those human costumes.
