Well, this is going to be interesting. I just downloaded the preview that came with the FFX disc and was surprised by how old-school/medieval it looked. It also appears to be more graphically impressive and plot-driven than I expected. The characters didn't really impress the hell out of me, but the backgrounds were cool.
If I give Square enough money right now, do you think they'll reserve the name "Sephiroth" and an approximately identical character design from FFVII for me?

Look at these pictures from FF11, the game looks great plus it seems to have a fantasy storyline like the early FF games. YAY! Is it just me or is the CT Guru also in there?
