Well, unless you have a friend that knows Japanese, you'll miss most of the story, as well as many things that would otherwise help you if you could read it.
If you NEED to, sure, get it. If not, then just wait.

Will there be any walkthrough or guides that translate what the characters are talking about??
like on the internet?

Er...maybe, but I doubt there would be any kind of translation "script" that'll have the English for the whole game.
You will be able to understand a lot from just what's going on visually, and what the characters are saying, but you still will miss a lot. Even your first battles, you'll be spending a lot of time just finding out what the attack, switch, defend, magic, etc. buttons are.
The only way I could've ever gotten through Final Fantasy II and III was with the help of a friend who knew Japanese. Without him, I don't think I could've stayed with the game more than 10 hours.
Anyways, its your decision, but it'll still make its way over to the states in a few months after the Japanese release, and it will be cheaper than the ~$75 or whatever it'll be there, so my recommendation is to wait.

...I THINK (keyword) that "gamefaqs.com" had some bare-bone translations of FF9... I'm sure there are sites out there with translations. I wouldn't get import games considering they are at least ten or twenty extra bucks. And the most you'll understand is the main menu.

I would definitely get the english verison of FFX if it does not use voice-acting
becuz i believe that the japanese voices will fit the characters better than the english voices
original is always better!

I might get flamed for this, but I don't think so.
Origionals CAN be better, but not always. I've seen some movies where the english actors were even better, sometimes even FAR better than the origional actors (and vice versa though).
One assumes that "because something is subtitled, it must be better", and I have to disagree. Yes, it CAN be "better", but not always. Somethings shouldn't be watched dubbed anyways. I can't even imagine a dub of "The Seven Samurai", since everything was done so well in that movie.
No matter what language you're in, there are bad actors. I can imagine that some dubs of "The Phantom Menace" contained a child actor that was a little better than the high-pitched "WHEE! YIPEE!!!" that Jake Lloyd possessed.
As far as games go, I'd stick with the way most movies are now, and release it in multiple languages. Everyone knows the English "acting" (if you can even call it that) basically KILLED Kessen.
So, I'd hope Square releases FFX in both English and Japanese (with an option to choose which), but if they only release a dubbed version, I won't complain, as long as its done well.

Wow, I'm having fun with the quote tag today.
Anyway, Square did alright in their past forays into voice acting, so I hope they don't prove those as flukes. The Bouncer had good dubbing, and as far as I can tell so did Xenogears. (I never played Brave Fencer Musashi, but I heard that was horrendous.)
But I don't think they have the ability to COMPLETELY screw up.
Having a choice between the languages, however, is doubtful, don't you think? Square already reportedly had difficulty cramming all their game onto one DVD. Providing two separate audio tracks would be the proverbial straw to the camel's back.

I hope that this topic will not somehow get to a point of racism
so i think i should stop here
but in my opinion, it will good if sqaure keep the japanese voices and make english caption for the english version
I think that's kinda a good idea cuz sqaure will not ahve to find a whole bunch of people again to make the english voices and this will lower the cost of making the game!
