As for the addiction, well if a game isn't fun enough to get you hooked, it isn't worth playing. So if you want to spend more time on your work, play something that isn't worth your time. D">

You can get the adamantine from the Adamantoise in beaches closest to the control tower in Dollet. Getting them isn't easy though: you can't get them by mugging the adamantoises, they drop it, and then only in rare ocassions. I've spent hours fighting the things (which have a high defense) and I only got two pieces of adamantine. But it's worth it if you want the Lionheart. Eep! Is it too late to go back and get all that stuff if I'm already in Timber and all of the trains are broken? Also, where do I get magazines, and who upgrades your weapons?

No eeep! It's ok! Breathe, Angelique, breathe...ok, even if you are in Timber, you'll get plenty of chances to get the stuff later on. You don't NEED the ultimate weapons right now, you can do just fine with other weapon upgrades (anyways, Squall is always going to be the strongest in your party, he can get you out of trouble in a jiffy ). Magazines...hmmmmmm...well, you can find them in a lot of places, pretty much just laying around. Most of the time they're kind of obvious, but some are hard to find. There are special stores that upgrade the weapons you have if you have the items and money necessary to upgrade them. If you want adamantine easy , i think you can get the special items ability from the .. er... some gf, then fight adamantoise at that beach .I think .If you want a easier time with the card game , wait till disc 2 . You will understand when you get there . If you want to counter the random rule , get rid of useless cards . If you want to abolish the rule , then ... er ... I forgot
I was plain lucky then , got the adamantoise on the first kill . Then I destroyed the Spider bot . Which gave me an extra adamantine . I upgraded Selphie's weapon , to get The End (coolest limit break ever !)
