I think half the box office gross it made came from your pocket.

Support the movie only if you enjoyed it. No reason supporting a movie if you threw up after watching it. Why send wrong signals to the filmmakers if you don't want them to continue making movies you won't enjoy?
"Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" was a sincere effort, but misguided, I think. The marks of Hollywood were stamped all over the movie. Special effects are aplenty, but they are as good as fireworks at sustaining interest. I no longer recognized the 'anime' element that I've grown to enjoy from the FF games. In fact, any movie made from a FF game storyline would have been more enjoyable.

You should go see it. I thought it was worth it, personally. Prolly not worth it for a lot of the not-interested-in-FF general public, but for people who do get the whole FF thing it's a good movie.

I don't think FF-TWS is worth this kind of support comming from the real FF fans. For starters, it is set on earth, the story is absolutelly not Final Fantasy and the music is not from Nobuo!
THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST COLLOURED THE 'A' IN
'SQUARE-PICTURES' RED!!!
(I did go see it for the fourth time though)
