If that's what you think, fine. Keep it to yourself. Don't go bagging others for how they felt about it. They're entitled to their own opinions.MRk MRK n FnK Mz

you obviously dont know what love is if you think its what you have with a video game/movie character
I don't think anyone here meant that they actually think it is possible for them to have a meaningful romantic relationship with Rinoa or Aeris or whoever they happen to like, they meant they fell in love with them in the sense of infatuation which is not "true" love but can be a kind of love if you are the one who feels it. They thought the character were really cute or there was something really good about them. We're not actually THAT deluded and we do have non-pixellated partners in real life.

No problem, Hey. People here ARE obssessive about Final Fantasy, I'll give you that, but we're obssessive about lots of other stuff too. And, urm, yeah, we are argumentative...but that's part of the reason I keep coming back here....

Well, Mr. "Hey", I am unsure of what you mean. You say that you don't want to offend anyone, yet you call Crane Paladin insane, and extremely obsessive. And I am also unsure of what you mean by extreme obsession. I really wanna know what you are trying to say. Do you mean dressing up as the character? Cause I'm sure we don't do that here. Do you mean loving a character as in a movie or a book, paying more attention to that characters actions and words during the story? Cause I think that's what we were talking about here.Every action has the potential to fill or empty one's heart...587495...

"There are unhealthy obsessions, and healthy obsessions. The two distinctly different behaviors can usually be patternized by the effects they garner upon reaction to action of the subject. Without obsession, man would have no drive or passion; we would be lost without the desire to seek a result from consentrated actions. Megalomania is an example of unhealthy obsession, while parental care is of a healthy and encouraged kind."
Love is a wonderful ability and emotion we all have, to recieve and express it a great gift. I refuse to limit my love and appreciation to only that which can give it in return. Some may say it is pointless to love the characteristics of a non-existent personality, but I say it is nessesary to recognize that those characteristics were envisioned and put to visuals in such engrossing ways.
