Hey, can you give us your opinion on how it compares to the PS games? I mean, I don't know what to expect really of this one, and I would like to have some sort of comparison with the most recent games.Every action has the potential to fill or empty one's heart...587495...

Ok....i will tell u how many FF traditions FFX broke
1- save points recover
2- HP limit (u can go over 9999)
3- Damage limit (physical attack can go over 9999)
4- Sphere Board System
5- Summons stay in battle and are treated like real characters.
6- Facial expressions for main characters
7- u can switch characters during battles
8- many sidequests...like blitzball, chocobo racing, al bhed books, capturing monster for monster trainer etc.
9- Abnormal status doesn't stay after battle.(sunno if this one counts or not)
10-(i might be wrong for this one) first FF kiss scenes
11-(can't forget this one) voice-acting

[FFVIII SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!]Doesn't Squall and Rinoa at the end of FFVIII count as an FF kiss scene? [/SPOILER]And can someone show me what this summons in battle thing actually looks like, if they have a picture handy somewhere? I haven't looked at many pictures of the game because I've been busy and I am curious. (And anything to cheer me up right now would be good... sorry, shouldn't be whining here, neither the time nor the place.)

The summons will stay in battle and u can control it just like how u control ur characters
u can choose whether u want it to attack or use magic or use special abilities stuff
and the summons have overdrives too
You can command ur summons to defend and save up overdrives gauge
Like ifrit, his overdirve is Hell's Fire
and bahamut's is mega flare
and their overdrive gauge fills up quite fast

I think Spok means when Cloud and Tifa were at the Northern Crater with the highwind and all by their lonsome selves. It could be taken that they might have "done something" that night. FF8 certainly has more romantic scenes in it than FF7, and I'm not sure about 9 or 10, I haven't played those yet....

But it's quite difficult to exceed that limit
even if u get all the required items and equipped it on ur armor or weapon
u still ahve to get the HP from the sphere board...=[
there is a FMV of tidus and yuna kissing
about 2-3 mins i think
