I'm getting paid in a few days, and I'm trying to decide which game in the Final Fantasy Series to buy. I'm going to choose between Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy Anthology. Vote for which one you think I should get, and reply and post your arguements for which game you think would be the better choice Thanks....

Definately FF Tactics. The game has a very nice mix of strategy in it, and many have said in the past that it stands apart from the "traditional" FFs. If you want something different, you should go for FFT. FFIX and Anthology perhaps would be good if you're really into the old school FF. Oh, and FFT has a kick ass soundtrack (not by Uematsu! BLASPHEMY! ).

I haven't played the rest of them other than IX, and imho it's not brilliant, so anything but IX. You might really like it though, I just think it's a bit lame. katyjag

W00tah! I just bought FF Tactics yesterday. I haven't had much of a chance to play it all that much (too busy working), but I did beat the final battle just for fun. I still had the savegame from when I borrowed Tactics from a friend. So maybe I'll post a formal review when I beat it for the second time, it's been too long ago to remember what it was like when I first played it....
