New anime out fansubbed by Soldats (same group currently doing Noir). FF- Unlimited combines classic styled anime with a new '3D' twist, familiar music and themes from the FF series show thru also. Even characters such as Chocobos and Summons (Leviathon and Phoenix) made a showing. It shows some amazing special effects, much like in FFX when spells or summons are cast.
Only seen the first ep out, update when i check out more of the series.. deffinately worth checking out for all the FF and anime fans out there!MRk MRK n FnK Mz

Ya'know, you would think by now Square would be smart enough to make a FF film/anime ABOUT one of the ACTUAL FF games, instead of all this "based" on Final Fantasy shit. Cant Square make a anime on FF8? Instead of some Spirits Within or "unlimited". Bah, am I asking for much?

I agree. They should continue to create new characters and storylines for the games, but when they venture into a new category they should only go half way. They should use past success to insure future success... but, only half way.
I know someone who worked on TSW, he was a bit upset when I told him I had higher expectations -- but still enjoyed the film -- because their games offer so much more. Of course, he has no creative control or say over the projects, he just does what he's told... but I have a bit of faith that square will create something better the next time.
I saw the first episode of unlimited, and it was alright... it's just the first episode however, there is MUCH more to be seen.
