I'm curious as to how much 'Final Fantasy Feel' is going to be retained. I mean, magic spells have been the core of Final Fantasy since before when, but I get the feeling these futuristic movie characters aren't going to have magic and aren't going to have summons. Just big guns. Which is a shame, because I would have loved to see Bahamut on the big screen.
If Square ever decides to do another FF movie, I hope its the more like the games. I wanna see magic and stuff...- Min

What do I think of the movie? I'm confused. I don't see how it has anything to do with Final Fantasy. It doesn't even remotely feel like Final Fantasy. There is nothing in that even slightly resembles the Final Fantasy series, other then the name. They could have called this movie. The Space Travelers and it would wouldn't matter. The name is just to sell it. Other then that, Where are the Summons? Chocobos? Moogles?, Magic Spells?, Card Game?, RPG Elements? All that great stuff that makes Final Fantasy endearing. Frankly i'm insulted by the movie. It looks more like Starship Troopers than anything else. I mean, It might be a great film, but don't call it what it's not. Final Fantasy is something else and maybe oneday they'll make a film about it.
