With MGS2, I could understand(we got it early, so we obviously lost out on the extras) but I don't understand why, with all the extra time they had, they couldn't package this shit with the US version. Square needs to take a fucking hint from Working Designs.

"English voice acting"
We have this, no big.
"A revamped Sphere Grid - Including new spheres and a redone grid arrangement. In addition to bearing their English names on the grid, all characters now start relatively close together, allowing players to completely determine their characters' progress (making Yuna a physical powerhouse, or Auron a healer, for instance)."
I dont think the new stuff on sphere grid is anything impresive. But it could have be interesting.
"Eternal Peacetime - Recorded and included on the "Other Side of the Final Fantasy 2" disc, this completely new scene takes place two years after the end of FFX, and features Yuna, Rikku, Wakka, and possibly Tidus!"
Damnit. That does suck.
"New Square Previews - New footage of upcoming Squaresoft titles, including Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XI, the Square Masterpieces series, Final Fantasy: Unlimited, and a promotion for the Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within DVD.
Interviews with the entire Japanese voice acting cast, as well as the English Tidus and Yuna."
Damnit!!
"FFX Promotional Movies - a collection of commericals and promotional videos from FFX's first release.
FFX Theme Song - a music video of FFX's theme song, Suteki Da Ne, available in stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1ch."
..............fudge....
People in Japan always get the good stuff. Man, that sucks.

err.. I thought FFX - International version was exactly that: NOT for Japan, but for the rest of us...
Everything mentioned seems really great, except for the reworked Grid. I would have preferred to keep the original settings, it kinda predetermines which characters are gonna serve which role. Even though the new system would allow for greater choice, I'd rather stick to the way it was
supposed to be.MRk MRK n FnK Mz

I'll remind you that when you get the rest of the half-assed conversions, months after we've already played and moved on from a game.

I don't think you guy's understand the premise behind "International". Just as with FF7, FFX had improvements made to it while it was being ported, somethings added and such. That's why it's called "International", because it's spanning more than one nation really, even though it's only being released in Japan.
