hmmz.. more ppl liked FFVIII than i thought.. i actually liked it more than 7.. happy that the FFX is headed more up the road of FFVIII than the 'old school' medieval stuff..

7 is my fav because it makes me purchased my PS just to play it... can't say about 9 thou many people say its one of the better one, coz i not yet play it...![]()
For 1-6 and tatics, well i never play it...and for 8, let's just say i did not bother to finish it...
As for the upcoming 10, well its going to have online gameplay... but it looks more like a combination of 8 and 10...

I would say that my favourite one is the 7th ...
But every Final Fantasy is different ... not only at a story side, but also at a musical side, a graphic side and a character side ...
I don't think we can compare anything else than the battle system ... because it is so much different ! Graphics evolve ... the music gets on well with the game's style ...
Actually, I prefer the style of FF9 ... but as long as the story is worth, it's fine ^^
However ... the one I didn't like much was the 8th ... The only impression I've had of it ... is that it is a beautiful game with an empty story ... and empty backgrounds ...
There is no environment in the different town ! It seem like everyone lives his life on his own ... not caring of what is happening ( of course, I'm only talking of the "unimportant" characters of the game ) ... and that is bad I think![]()

Wow. I can't believe 9 is ranking so low. Less than 8? After everybody complained about how awful 8 was too!! Damn, I still gotta play FF7.- Min

Ya not to many people like FF9. I think FF8(though FF7 in better than FF8, why does it seem that the older FF's seem better than the new ones??) is a hell lot better than FF9. My reasons is listed:
1.) FF8 is more interesting (though the storyline is kinda sloppy).
2.) The storyline line of FF9 is boring and the goes by to fast (cuz the bosses and monsters are to damn easy).
3.) Not as much magic as the past FF's.
4.) The characters in FF9 kinda suck, they don't show much characteristics of the characters.
5.) The junctions suck in FF9.......BACK WITH MATERIA !! NORMAL WEAPONS, ARMORS AND ACCERIOSIES LIKE IN FF7 !!!
6.) Can't think of anymoreTHAT'S DISGUSTING !! TAKE A SHOWER BABY !!!!

Damn! Really, after all the posts that FF8 fans got as a reply to why FF8 sucked *yeah right*, a lot of people ended backing it up here in the message board...what is up with that? I wonder where all those haters went...

i prefer FF6, because i was grown up in the old school times of RPG'ing *probably why i am so excited to get my hands on a GBA ^^*
But from the last 3, i liked FF8 a lot more than the others, maybe it was cause i could relate to Squall a lot, personally..i think there was more character involvement in FF8 than all the others - besides FF6. Still don't know why a lot of people liked FF7 more than FF8 *hums* Maybe it's cause of the use of materia..the junction system is the same exact thing, only attributing to the elements of the character, not the weapon, so it gives me the shits when people who love FF7, diss the junction system..just a bit more complex than the materia system, but you can figure it out if you use your brain *snix* FF9 is ok, reminds me a lot of FF4+5, maybe cause of the black mages..
