Yeah, I agree. The design of everything in the game caught my eye the very moment I happened to glance at it...since then I have been collecting everything FF8. The design was excellent in my view, and then the story built upon it in a way I didn't expect it to. That was the first game where I actually cared what happened to the characters (of course, it was also my first RPG). It's also the first RPG I finished, being followed by Pokemon...all in all, FF8 was a bunch of firsts for me, and that makes it my favorite.

my favorite has to be a tie between 7 and 8. Nine sucked. What was the point of necron anyways? Having him as the final boss was a cop out for the bad writers. seven was my first ever RPG and the first video game I ever beat, so it holds aspecial place in my heart. Eight was just so cool and epic...man it cant get much better than that.

Spoilers? Saying (or typing in this case) the final bosses name is a spoiler? When did this happen? If I had revealed some plotpoints or something then maybe it could have been a spoiler, but just by saying the final bosses name? I mean, c'mon! It's an RPG-it has to have a final boss-hmm no spoiler there...the final boss has a name-don't all final bosses have names...none there. I said it...hmm it's a name, true, but nothing about the plot is revealed...damn-no spoiler there either. What I'm trying to say is, chill out...it'll be OK.

Even though I didn't play FF6 yet, I saw pics. and videos of it, there should be another like that.I DON'T CARE IF I DESTROY MY MIND !! JUST AS LONG AS I SLAUGHTER ALL OF YOU !!!
