Spoilers in this for anyone who isn't at least two thirds of the way through the game if not more (I think I'm about two thirds through anyway. If you haven't finished it or gotten very close to the end please don't read this then get hit with a spoiler, ok?

Ok, enough of that. I need some help. How do you defeat Seymour when you fight him on Mt Gagazet? I've tried just about every strategy I can and I've tried to level up too but it doesn't seem to be helping. Anyone have any good tips?

Well... if you use Rikku, her al bhed potions come in handy (or if you have another character with the USE ability, like I do, that'll work)... you'll also want to use protect like crazy, getting dispelled often isnt fun. Use aeons in overdrives... dont use them otherwise. Uhm.. lets see... holy waters help too.. dont hesitate to toss off an attack turn to use a holy water. Kimahri's mighty guard is nice, and Rikku can mix up a mighty guard. Just heal heal heal like crazy, and if two characters are down dont hesitate to use a mega phoenix...
If by some miracle you have any auto armor, wear it.. or any SOS protect/shell/regen/overdrive armor, wear it..
I guess thats all I can suggest...

Why give it a cookie when you could just shoo it out the house with a broom and solve your pest problem?

I'm English, I lived in Germany when I was a kid. I bet I didn't read half the books most American kids do.
