Well...sort of.
The game will sell due the Final Fantasy name, and due to the fact that the reviews are relatively positive, but having a main cast that's virtually all-female, wearing some skimpy clothing (especially Yuna's switch from a more conservative and traditional wear to some hot pants), will probably bump up the numbers to surpass FFX's sales by a decent margin.
Don't get me wrong, it'll sell well outside of Japan as well, and the sex factor is certainly going to help more than it'll hurt, but I'm just guessing Japan would have the bigger jump. As far as people buying games based on sex alone, I'll leave that topic alone for now.
