Why do people strive to get super highquality fansubs?
I saw one guy on IRC who'd spent hours just so he could RE-download a version of the show with 5.1 sound. It seems kind of pointless...not allowed

I but all the anime dvds I can. Most of the anime movies I have now, and had for a long time, I now have on DVD. See, I SUPPORT anime ^_^.

Hell, I see enough people who see a BAD fansub/rip that way. I know plenty of people who think that, despite the fact that they love a certain film, a 300meg DivX is better than spending $15~$20 on the DVD.
