Actually, the HK DVD's could be considered bargain bin animation, as I got all 26 eps for somewhere in the area of 20 or 30 bucks. That sounds like a bargain to me!

The just completely americanized it, which almost destroys it considering that one of the things which made Azumanga Daioh so endearing was how entirely japanese it was. I'm sure they would have rocketed forth and changed the names too, if TokyoPop wasn't already dealing with an immense Initial D backlash.not allowed
