Has anyone else read the manga? I saw the anime as well, but I just recently found the manga online. It explains some things I had problems with in the anime, and seems more cohesive overall. It's also really, really fucked up.
Oh, on a semi off-topic note, someone made a Sword of the Berserk game for the Dreamcast that was actually really great. It was even released locally.
