(ackward as a first post, I'm sure)
.mkv is simply a container, meaning it acts like a zip file, which contains a video stream, multiple audio streams (typically one english, one japanese) and the subtitles in a single file.
If you're using Media player classic to play it, or are decoding it with direct show, you should see the direct show icon on the bottom left of your screen, and with that, you can right click, and select which stream it is you're looking for, and en/dis-able the subtitles.

The movie doesn't have subs included, there's a notice at the beginning. I have the options of Japanese and "Undefined" or something, and both were checked I think actually.

woah.. you know what? I saw the "K" and just assumed it was Kassim. Because.. you know... we never get new people (except for crazy Canadians that shall remain nameless).
Hey Kaze! Don't run away. Please?

And for Kaze, who are you? I demand you goto the general forum and introduce yourself.
Also, if you happen to be a lesbo, pixplz.

Yeah but its all tiny.. more like a decorative, in place of lame pre-2k use of "z", "i", or something... ::cough cough cough::

Who in their right mind would be seen out in the community with a tacky i or z attached to themselves...it's almost as bad as having to walk home from kindergarten with a note pinned to your coat. Every time the wind blew the note would flap around and hit you in the face...you get home and see the odd paper cut on your cheek while you make silly faces at yourself in the mirror when you're really supposed to be washing up for dinner. The worst were report hards...remember how big they used to be in that big envelope...torture. I remember one time my teacher folded up the note she was pinning on me into four. and on the way home I guess I got hungry and I started to chew on the corner and I raced in to my mother to make sure that it was *MY* note that she read instead of the duplicate one that my brother would bring home. anyway it turns out that my mom had to read the one my brother brought home because there were four rather large holes chewed into mine...I was a strange child. How's that for a ramble?

LoL Kassim err sorry *r*Kassim...I was having fun with what Ren posted about the "i" and the "z". I found humor in it. The story is true...I did chew a hole in my school letter...but I am able to poke fun at myself and laugh...you need to unwind a little bit and relax...and you can't tell me you didn't laugh a little at how much of a weird kid I was...who can wait for milk and cookies when there is perfectly good paper attached to your chest...I mean c'mon...it's right there...
