    I miss the old boards...
    Anyway, my recommendations are Evangelion, Rurouni Kenshin, Princess Mononoke and Kare-Kano. Quite common stuff.
    For good drawing, try anything by Clamp...
    I personally like the art of the Kenshin OVA (it's supposed to look different by the way, I heard that its an unwritten rule that OVAs have to be more realistic in art and story) but I didn't watch it in its entirety because the only version we can find around here is dubbed in cantonese. Does anyone know where to find a Kenshin OVA DVD in Japanese?

      All the anime in NA sucks... They took out all the blood and pretty much any "worse" than crap. (IE shit, fuck, ass)
      But, I like to watch Gundam, DBZ, Escaflowne... They are the only good anime that plays here.

        but lately, they r slacking off
        if u compare the mangas from 5 yrs ago w/ those from now, u can see a huge different
        take angelic layer for example. personally, i thought it sux
        just my opinion...

        and kenshin ova? heh heh heh....i almost slept in the middle of it
        if u wanna order dvd in japanese, y not do it online?

            if you get teletoon, every year they play Ninja Scroll, Patalbor 1 and 2, Macross Pluss, and Ryoal Space Force. All these movie are VERY VERY GREAT! I loved them... I am trying to get them on DVD. But no luck... (what do you expect in NA?)
            I have tham recorded on VHS, I am trying to record them into my computer and put them in divX... but so far I have not had any luck hooking it up... everything fails.. I need a VCR with Svideo-End Message[url=mailto:majorcooke]****MAJORCOOKE****[/url]
