has anyone seen this anime? it's done by gainax... the ppl. who also did evangelion... it's also pretty weird... with a kid who keeps having robots pop out of his head... very strange indeed...

edit... well i finally downloaded the rest of the flcl eps and watched them all in one sitting (screw homework... :P) i must say... flcl is one of the coolest, strangest anime i've ever seen... if u get a chance to watch this i recommend it...

yep. the series is bloody awesome. along with lain, it is one of the only fully computer drawn anime's. hopefully more titles like these will come, but the cost of production really holds them back.
anyway we hooked up my pc to the 2m tv and had a one day screening all of flcl, then some ps2 bashing, that was heaps fun.
hopefully not spoiling it for anyone, but to get the story, all you really need to watch it the last ep, i was a bit skeptic on how they could finish this story within 6 (!!!) eps.. but they did it very well and in goodol flcl fashion. btw i think the soundtrack (mostly done by the pillows) is one of the best soundtracks for an anime iv ever seen.
