butchered anime sucks
not only they get some dialoges wrong, but they also change to story so it would fit in the show
but at least showing them would expose some people to go and look for more to watch
hopefully subbed ones
hmmmmmm.....have u seen some ppl who watch those crap and then claim themselves to be the "master" in that show?

Give me a break! I know that what I watch may not be the best that is offered out there, but the fact that I don't have to pay for DVDs and such is a good incentive to keep watching...I haven't changed my mind though. I still like the things I see in CN.

We got some sort of "international channel" at our house. They sometimes play (sometimes) un-cut anime straight out of Japan, which is always good. I have yet to see a uncut "Tenchi Muyo". So, alas I have only seen it on CN.....(silence)...... I think DBZ sucks big time. I've seen "un-dubbed" shows of it, and I'm still bored and confused. ("Why are they fighting?") I think the only good anime on CN is Gundam Wing. (I have not seen "Big-O" it seems... eh, interesting) But my favorite anime movies are "Ninja Scroll", "Princess Mononoke", and "Vampire Hunter D". (The game for "VHD" SUCKED ROYALLY!) Anything Gundam is always refreshing.

Well I really feel soo BAD that you guys are soo afflicted with crap anime polluting your purist tastes. But at least you people have the choice, In the UK Pokemon and the CN anime is like the only easy to come by anime in the UK. I started by watching Pokemon and I've seen like every episode from the first series. And I dont care too much if some one flames me for not following the normal social trend of saying Pokemon's crap, I like it. As for DBZ its a bit annoying the way some fights last like over 10 episodes, where some episodes only contain the fighters screaming and grunting. But I do like Akira Toriyama's work, A LOT. Gundam Wing is just the best, giant robots are cool. As for Tenchi Muyo its, different. I like its title theme tune. And I though of it as an interesting insight of alternative subject programming in a Eastern culture as opposed to our Western culture.
Thankfully a local shop has started importing animes from the states

Funny enough these are my earliest anime influences and my favourites, and when I first saw Pokemon it was like a reawakening of my earlier exposure to anime and it has brought me back to the fold of anime lovers and started my exploration of anime and Japanese culture, so think of the good Pokemon has done me before you slag it oK?
I wish CHV was back then I could submit crap like this to the my 2c board in peace, that no one would acknolage my ranting...ah well whatever

Yeah, GW is great. Anything with robots kicks it could be Gundam,Evangelion, anything with giant robots the size of skyscrapers blasting the crap at each other at breakneck speed kicks a$$....Unless its Power Rangers....That's just SAD.....
