i was watching tenchi and ranma and the girl in these show love tenchi/ranma for diff reasons
tenchi:
Ryoko-think tenchi is her true love and they were made for each other
Ayeka-
mainly wants to marry tenchi cause he the prince of Jurai
Sasami- I not sure she want tenchi
Kiyone- i not sure she want tenchi too, but i think she thinks he kind of cute
Washu- again i not sure she want tenchi, but she does found me neat and want to know more about him
Mihoshi- not sure she want tenchi too, but she does kind of like him
ranma:
akane: she must love him, cause when ever she him if a girl she beats him up, or when a girl start talking about him she gets all mad
Shampoo: thinks just cause he beat her she has to marry him, i think she need to hook up with mousse i guy really loves her, all the stuff he goes througth to get her to love him
Kodachi-thinks that ranma is her true love and with stop at anything to have him
Ukyou- she was promise to ranma when they were kids, and now she belives ranma is all hers and will fight anyone for him, i think she need to go with ryoga

If you like love triangles/polygons, you could try watching "Hana Yori Dango" for a different perspective.

I've never seen ranma, but I agree with most of your views on Tenchi. I think Sasami has a bit of a childish crush on Tenchi though, everyone seems to in that show. I think Washu likes him too, she does try it on with Tenchi a few times in the show.
