If you could voice cast any anime series/movie/ova/tv, who would you use as the voices for the char.

Okay, sure sure, change the question why dontcha...
-----previous post below------
all live action films based on anime are doomed to fail... anime just cant be replicated in live action to a high enough standard...
HOWEVER, if I were to want to make a live action film based on an anime, it would have to be Ghost in the Shell... dunno who I'd cast in it though...

The only live-action film made from an anime feature that I can think of, and that was quite well-received, is "Crying Freeman". Unfortunately, it is not distributed in U.S. and the DVD special edition can only be ordered through Amazon.fr
However, there have been quite a few Japanese drama serials made from the anime/manga genre though, like "Shota No Sushi (Shota's Sushi)" and "Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo (Young Kindaichi's Detective Files)".

I think Canada is begining to develop the seiyuu/idol syndrom with Sugar... she's EVERYWHERE, her and her little voice.
She is the voice of Rini in Sailor moon, she has a spot on a morning radio show, she is a new host on YTV... if only she could sing, she's be THERE.

Oh, right, uhm... the initial question. Well... I still have no idea who I'd cast. I'd probably hold auditions the same as with the TSO, where you have them hidden behind a screen and each go in random turn to voice a small clip of the character. That way it's purely graded on quality, and not resume or previous works. No names, just voice.

Try saying something other than "Beep, beep".
