CHV Lives On

Okay, so, I went to the anime society at my university for the first time last night. They watch loads of random stuff that I've never seen (because anime here is like hens' teeth...) and I want to know what people think of what they're showing at the moment. Also, I hope Spok is reading this because they showed us the video of where you got that custom picture with the japanese guy doing cosplay. I almost died from laughing so much. They're scary scary scary fans! Anyway, um, if anyone has seen (and I imagine lots of people have!) these, tell me what you think of them and if they're worth carrying on watching (not that I have a choice in what they pick to show!) Nadesico, Utena, Gunbuster, Child's Toy, Furi Kuri (how did they make it look like that?? It's amazing!) and Angel Sanctuary.

i've seen some of kodomo no omocha (child's toy), flcl, and angel sanctuary. good stuff.

I think FLCL was made entirely on computers, a la Evangelion. Haven't seen it myself, though.

I like it, it's cool. Well, from what I've seen, ie the first episode.

I've seen all of FLCL, and it positively rocks. I can't wait for the movie.

I think that might be one of the things they're thinking of showing soon at the anime society, cause one of the cinemas in Oxford is having a season of anime films on at the beginning of next year. Woohoo...big screen anime!
