uhhh...could you elaborate the anime connection for the more dumb of us here?katyjag

There's an episode of Cowboy Bebop called Cowboy Funk, which probably has no chance of being played on TV after what happened last year.
Its basically about this guy who goes by the name "Teddy Bomber", who uses explosives inside Teddy Bears to blow up skyscrapers that "symbolize capital waste."
I just thought it was kinda odd seeing this news story, which immediately made me think of that episode. They're most likely completely unrelated, but both are using the same methods to reach the same goals.

Oh yeah, I think I read something about an Episode of CB being pulled off Cartoon Network recently because of skyscraper bombing references. Does that mess the story up though? (Wouldn't know cause I've never seen it!)katyjag

Not really. The episode is more comedic than anything else, and it doesn't really move along the "main" plot. Just simple fun and a little character development.

It's a shame it's got such a sensitive subject matter even if it doesn't advance the plot though. I can understand why they can't show stuff like that right now, I wonder if they might do in the future though. They've done stuff like that here before, and just put a little note beforehand saying "[name of program] was made before [relevant happening]." They did that with a show I watched that had been filmed last summer about ethnic groups in areas of Brooklyn. Obviously lots of shots of the World Trade Center as you would imagine. It was very respectful, in a way, what they did to the show because they went back and talked to the same people they had interviewed before September 11 and asked them how they felt about it. It was interesting to hear how people felt like they were more American after the country was threatened. Anyway, this is an anime board, I digress. (No change there then )katyjag

I want to see a game where the goal is to kill as many people and babies with down syndrome in tall sky scrapers as you can. -Spok-
