Wow, never seen the show (don't plan on it either), but this just reeks of 'suckage' already. Live action movie based on an anime. Hm...the average audience will hate it, and the hardcore fans will hate it.

That is going to suck in epic proportions, you're right. Dragonball is a poor anime in the first place...and it's the whole live-action videogame movie thing again. Film companies! Just don't go there! It's going to suck and you're going to lose money!

Then again, I'd probably enjoy laughing at this movie more than I would enjoy watching the new one. Bad Asian films of the 70's are always fun.

hey! dragon ball was a great show back in its time!
when watching it 10-12 yrs ago, it was good
