I'm baaack!
Got disconnected for two weeks whilst my crappy cable company messed up getting us broadband in my house. Very annoying. Too happy to be annoyed right now though cause we just fixed everything on our own. Anyway, just thought I would say hello again.

yea i was without cable for a day and a half. apparently, according to tech support, my 3com modem died so i had to take it in, but of course it was labor day so their local office wasn't open. so i went yesterday, and now i have a spiffy new RCA cable modem that's a lot smaller than the 3com, and my cable works. woot.

Dunno what my modem is, but it's shiny and it looks pretty sitting on the desk. (That's really as technical as it's going to get with me ) But two weeks without being able to get online was a really REALLY big pain in the ass, I know that much.
