CHV Lives On

Well, now that Kingdom Hearts is out, I've been thinking....why did I start liking Squaresoft in the first place? I'll post my reasons later, but why does everyone else like or hate Squaresoft? I mean, gamewise, what are your favorite or least favorite Squaresoft games? :O

I been liking Squaresoft since a game I played on the SNES.
It was called Secret of Mana and I loved it. I didn't have a copy but the game was 3 player via multitap so I used to go to my mates and play with him. Sweeet.
Ahh the good old days.

OMG thanks for reminding me, my first and still one of my favoritest games of all time is Secret of Mana.
Too bad Secret of Mana 2 was not as good...

I downloaded a ROM for SoM2 but it looked weak and I didn't beleive it was SoM2 when I first started playing. I think I played it for like 3 mins and then deleted it.
Secret of Mana rocks!! I have some remixes of the soundtrack on my HD, cos I am that obsessed.

SD3 was okay... Legend of Mana (the US version of Secret of Mana 2) was weak.

I think Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are my favorites as well. I was *really* impressed with Chrono Cross. I might even go as far to say I prefer it to CT, but if I hadn't played CT in the first place...
FF6 is also a big favorite. I've played it many many manymanymany times, and never get bored with it.
FFX was a big treat... I liked the characters alot. Its pretty to look at. The story was good. Music was spectacular, except for the metal. I kinda missed flying around on a 3d map though. And yeah, thats my only complaint about it. No wait, I have another; the very last boss.
From what I played of FF7, I liked it. YES, I still have to buy it sometime... ::sigh::
And then theres FF8. I love that game... just leave it at that.

I bought a PS1 for the sole purpose of playing FF7,
and then a few years later,
I bought a PS2 for the sole purpose of playing FFX.
