CHV Lives On

I just wanted to know what you guys would suggest. I'm looking for a decent camera, around the 4megapix range.. any suggestions? Particular brands, models etc?
I figure I should find a model that I wanna get here, then buy it in Japan at the end of the year! heheh.. save a bit of $$ MRk MRK n FnK Mz

eh bumz i wouldnt count on electronics being alot cheaper at japan. they have high tax rates over there and i dont think you'll find it cheaper if any at all. you may get a newer model tho thats entirely different. visit red blog!

d00d! The standard prices are already HEAPS cheaper in Japan. Just go to an Australia site for sony and compare the prices with the Japanese site.
Japan has many discount electronics places. In Osaka, Den Den Town.. In Tokyo, Akihibara.. those places are gonna be so awesome. Taking into account that we'll most likely be buying a fair bit (three people acutally going plus other items for friends) AND duty free, I think we'll come off much better than buying the stuff here.
Just the MD I wanna get is already less than half the price it retails for here!
The models will most likely be a lot higher than they are here. Which is good. The highest model available in Australia will be like 'average' over there, again making it cheaper.
Trust me, it's gonna be worth it to get electronics over there.
Only thing is, I don't wanna get caught taking that much back into Australia. Apparently they tax it like a bitch! Esp in Sydney. Hopefully we can get thru from Cairns.. hehehe~MRk MRK n FnK Mz

i got a heap from aki in tokyo. md, digital cam and vid rec. i thought the prices were ok. over here dont buy things directly from the retailers.. its so bs the price. sony jacks everything up a shiteload. some other brands you will find its around the same price. visit red blog!

i think the best places to get the best prices is singapore.. they have got it cheap as over there because of the sheer amount of electronic shops... *rolls around in pain* AAAH i can still hear the horrible music they played in akihibara every.. single.. god damn.. day.. visit red blog!

Last time I went to s`pore, I found the pricese VERY close to Australia.
A few years back it was much better, now their dollar is virtually identical to ours! even with the number of stores, I found bargains there rare. Maybe I was just looking in all the wrong places eh? MRk MRK n FnK Mz
