There's a story on that site (can't find the bookmark) regarding Japanese moms...uh..."pleasing" their young boys to get them to do better in school.

That 'wrist slashing' one is really freaky. A lot of my friends have done that before, not an attempt at suicide.. just when they're really angry or something, they slash their wrists or arms and it somehow makes them feel better~

Ummm, it depends. They let certain stuff go, but when it gets too outragous they get pissed. Streaks, tips, highlights etc are usually fine. But if you came to school with a purple mohawk or something, they would pretty much tell you to go home.
