It's a new weekly that focuses strictly on stuff you either won't see at all or won't see for a while stateside. It runs 15 to 20 pages and they're a buck a piece, check it out if you get a chance.not allowed

Right now I'm more undecided on whether Newtype USA is worth it... I got a copy yesterday. $10 is a lot for a magazine, even if it IS a big magazine with a dvd. The whole putting it right to left like a Japanese publication is a bit meh...pretentious imo, even if they are trying to be as close to the Japanese version as they can. Then again, that really didn't fit (and I was really annoyed about this

Vidiot, they converted the weekly to a monthly, IE, it has 4 weeks worth of Naruto each month, and it's only 5 bucks.
And to Katy, it's not pretentious, it's cost-effective and BETTER.
This way they don't have to completely fuck the layout, but I do agree that the DVD should have had the J-Language track. This is why the English never get things, all they do is complain.

I'm not complaining about it, it just seems a little odd given that they don't care about just having the English language dub on the dvd. I don't get what they're trying to say about themselves...we want our magazines authentic but our anime dubbed?
