Who the hell knows, the pricing is kinda tied into my cable TV pricing anyways (Adelphia, you know, one of those Enron-style bankruptcies). I'd guess around $45 a month, not sure the downstream (I tend to use it more on off-peak hours anyway), upstream is capped at 128.

Ouch, dude, who pays for that?
...Opens 80, narrows 4 left minus tightens, into 5 right, opens 30, 5 right keep in into hairpin left, 4 plus 30, sharp 5 left into crest 20, opens 5 half long over crest...

I pay like $20 a month, the rest is covered.
The problem is, Adelphia is the ONLY broadband ISP that I have access to. Road Runner stops a few miles from where I live, and nobody else is in the area. DSL isn't even an option here.
This just pisses me off even more if the company ever collapses due to their scandals and other troubles, since I'd basically have to go back to dial-up (28.8 performance, at best).
Performance-wise, I've heard mixed things about Adelphia. Others seem to have it worse than me, while a few, especially in western NY (Buffalo region), seem to be getting incredible speed and service.
I'm not complaining about their download speeds, as it seems to be good enough, but I wish they'd raise their cap on uploads above 16KB/sec.

My parents are paying. Yes, they get pissed. So I am trying to convice them to upgrade the service, or get another DSL service in the area.
