Just trying to find something out for a friend. Are Aussie and UK PS2 games and machines the same? I know we're both PAL but I was wondering if there was any reason that might stop you being able to play UK PS2 games on an Australian machine. Cheers.

I've never actually imported a UK title, but I can't see why it wouldn't work just fine.
