I'm really happy that your mother and sister were so receptive ::grin::. Time will help your father to understand and cope... just don't dissappear on them all.

I'm glad it didn't go too catastrophically, Bumz. I hope Tim gets better soon though, and your dad can become a bit more understanding.

Its really great that ur friend, part of your family and ur bf's friend is really supportive around you.
Don't worry, its always the dad that's in the denial state. He'll get around it soon. Its great that your Mom and your sister is fine with it.

There is no way that my sister and mum are OK with it. They are just much more willing to learn to accept it. While my dad is just flat out rude.. he's got a bit better in the last day, it's as if he's pretending it never happened.. he talks to me about really ordinary stuff, like his day at work or my ridiculous mobile phone bill..
I know what you mean Angelique. He has issues. Ugh..
Nice post Drak! hahahhaha! *bUmz stands proud*MRk MRK n FnK Mz

Congrats dude. Well, you really have to understand what your Dad is going through. He's probably going through a really tough time as well. When something drastic happens, you will always blame yourself. We all know the feeling, and it's probably what your dad is going through at the moment. I really doubt you would have gotten a better response and I personally don't think your dad has any issues at all. Just be glad your dad isn't so strict he has kicked you out of home.. Your dad has been raising you for yonks, he probably expected to have grand children, see you get married etc. Now everything he was looking forward too has been changed - he just needs time to accept that. Stick close to your mum, if things don't work out with your dad, it will with your mum and she will help you get back alone with your dad. Anyways, heres to you for getting a fuckload of courage to come out to your parents. I havn't even told my parents about my speeding ticket yet.....
