Totally. My boyfriend and I take the pragmatic approach to billpaying. Whichever of us has any money that day does it! So it works out pretty even most of the time.

One side of me wants to say, "You don't need to try so hard to be all gentlemen-like," and the other side of me wants to say, "That's cool if you want to do that... I guess."

well ok i'm driving to santa monica from orange, which is around 50 miles one way, to pick up my friend jen -- who i have never met in person before, and have only been talking to her for a month or so -- to go see coheed and cambria perform at the house of blues anaheim, which is 6 miles away from my house. so i'm driving 50 miles out of town to take her.
also apparently she's been wanting to meet me in person for 2 years now, or so she says.
