Does anyone know where I can find those Creative Live!/Audigy drivers that were released by compaq (the 377MB one)?
I do not want to use the ones on the CD because they are shit, and creative did not release their newer drivers for Win98.
Or does anyone know where I can find the 13MB version?

I dunno, I'm currently on a driver search myself. Freakin morons at sympatico told me to remove my 3com drivers and install d-link... now I cant get anything installed because I dont have a retail 98SE CD.
Maybe you should install the stock drivers, then go get updates not standalone. Or something. God damnit I'm so savvied out that I cant make sense of anything PC related.

Ok, I finally found the drivers. Took me forever to download, but I got them.
Here's a tip that will save you from a reformat latter on, NEVER LISTEN TO THE DUMBASSES AT SYMPATICO. Those people are all serious computer idiots.
As for the drivers that came with my card, there is no fucking way in hell I am going to install the most shit driver on my system. Creative has the worst driver support. I do not think I am going to buy a sound card by Creative again.
And what drivers are you looking for, SB drivers?

yea i keep hearing about these driver problems people keep having with creative products.. personally i've had no problems at all. the only time i've ever had problems with a creative product was back when i had windows 3.1 and i couldn't get my soundblaster 16 to work.
