I'm pondering over the thoughts that Katy cursed you to suffer soldering iron burns... she likes them, they are her people, and they like to burn stuff.

But they burn things in a constructive way! Does this not make the soldering iron the greatest of all home improvement tools? Soldering irons will be the major-generals of my army of burny things.
And Ren, things could be worse. You could come from a country whose government pretends to be diametrically opposed to conservatism when in fact they're bringing it in by the back door. @_@

Okok.. my comments were a bit premature... the conservative thing, not the soldering iron thing.
Just what were you DOING with a soldering iron again?
A conservative gov might not be too bad.. especially since seats weren't landslided and NDP got more than ever before this time around (yay!).
And.. I am interested in this army of burny things; will butain lighters be the frontline? "Suicide bombers" in the form of cherry crackers? What will you use for ranged?

You can see where the soldering iron moved across my arm, and the blistering at the top. Woo.
I didn't realize it was still plugged in. It was sitting in a vice, and I reached around it to lower the arm on my drill press.

That's a quality burn you got there, well done. ^___^ Now you need to draw an arrow on your arm in marker pen and write "I will not leave my soldering iron plugged in".

Well, there's going to be flame throwers, lots of flame throwers. They may be our equivalent to the marines. Or possibly just those things that you turn light a gas range with, depending on our start-up funding levels. ^______^ Oh, and aerosol cans and lighters for added retardedness.

For my use, Cold Heat doesn't work very well. I got one for the shop, and it seems to like to make sparks. That's about it.
