Once again politics is trying to point fingers and find shortcuts to dealing with shootings.

This won't be a PC thing to say... but I sort of applaud their effort to minimize any influences of violence given the country's past history. That being said though, I do think it is a bit too far to have year-long jailtimes. Make it a fine, okay... but jailtime, for playing or developing a game..? It's simulation, of which all media is guilty. If they will incarcerate Joe Shmoe for creating a 3D gun model that is used in Half-Life: The Megadeath One, then they would need to convict his brother, the pennyless artist who made some coffee cups with a rambo-bunny on it holding a nazi helmet.
