I got a Wii.
(no waiting, no lines.. just required a phonecall to the right people)
Who wants to exchange Wii codes? Maybe our Miis can hang out.

I already got a Wii. I don't need another.
I actually had absolutely no intention of ever buying a Nintendo console again, until they prove that they can have a not shitty game line up (and not @#%$ over the good games). I certainly don't want to make the mistake of purphasing the cheapest console at launch. Because it turned out, you pay the least, you get the least. End rant.

I'm kind of in the same boat as rKassim, only, I haven't sworn off Nintendo completely yet. I'm waiting for a price drop. There's a few games I want to play, but, realistically, the one I want to play the most is a shoddy port of a Gamecube game. The fact that this port is also Nintendo's flagship launch title worries me slightly, regardless of how good it is.

I'm leaning toward a wii on boxing day, yall already know why.
But every day that goes by I try to tell myself in the morning that the PS3 would be a good investiment because of expected blueray prices... we'll see if I can manage to convince myself.

Because...it would...fit in a box easier?

Why do you Canadians have so many stupid holidays with stupid names? :i

They don't have a "boxing day" outside Canada?
Hey Moon, can the WiiConnect24 be disabled, or configured for for certain games? Or is like "You have no choice but to take what we want you to have."

Games had better start taking into account that a certain percentage of the population is...left-handed...or I forsee some problems with this thing.

Yeah, WiiConnect24 can be shut off in the system menu if you don't want it on when the system is in standby mode. I leave it on, though, because I want my Miis to mingle with other Miis on other Wiis.
