It's not that I didn't like the show (I did, just finished it last night), it's the fact that I wanted to smack the kid around a little too often for being stupid at times. When I had posted above, I had just seen the episode where he outright lied to Hermes, and skipped a date to go to an otaku convention. Here he is, rising from the level of uber-loser, to practically dating someone well out of his league...and he lies to her. It was just a little frustrating, that's all.
