Because the copy at my local blockbuster likes to freeze at a blackscreen before the FMV will load. I must have done the final bit over atleast 5 times. I told them about the error and after inquiring they said they tested it, and it worked.
They said the exact same thing about FF7, which would freeze up at the intro FMV.
