I see nothing that states that that picture from FFIX is realtime, only that the thing is "capable" of doing it in realtime.
And the part about the FF movie being rendered on it is kinda misleading. YES, they did it, but:
A) Some of the effects and detail was lowered a bit, and
B) It was at 2.5 fps, or .4 seconds for every frame. Not exactly "realtime".
But even in these low res pictures, you can still see a difference between it and the movie:
