Yes, let's talk about Playstation2 going Online. YAY! Playstation2 is going online soon, finally! The bad thing is, we do not know how it is going to work. As it is going online, what connection type and how will the way things work? I have heard that a 56K Modem is being made, and a Cabel/DSL modem is being worked on. Which would you guys rather choose? I say Cable, because I have Cable for my computer (Which I am on right now, lol) and Road Runner for my ISP. We do not want to pay for TWO ISPs. This is something to think about. The first thing I was thinking was " Will Playstation2 be using the same ISP or another?" You guys need to think about this, and give me your oppinions. LOL, I really need to know how this will work out!
You can already play some Ps2 games online, by hooking up a phone jack and blah, blah, blah. Sony needs to get "offically online" soon, which is a no brainer. And I want to see more of there "Navy Seals" game (I think thats what it was called) which is supposedaly online as well. Tony Hawk 3 is going to have online play, unless Sony gets screwed.

Interact Gameshark is already making a Modem. I don't know what connection though. I have viewed it already. I think it it part of the new Playstation2 Hardrive.

For one thing, DSL is really Dial-up! It is just used in a different way. It uses the negative side of your phone-line, because no interference. Calls are used with the positive side of phone-line.
I rather have Cable, I just love cable!
