    A) Running on the water is now ridiculously easy. Instead of having to time your button presses with each step...you just...run with the analog stick. Perhaps they will change it back to the old way on the hard modes.
    B) The old shop keeper doesn't reply with the comments he had in the other two versions. The old dude's voice was just as much of a part of the shop experience as Mr. "I'll buy that at a high price" is.
    C) Seriously, still with the mid-level load times? Even after a fairly long HDD install, you still need to pause the game to load a bit when I run through a room too fast?
    D) Having full 1080i/p support is nice, but seriously, what's with the major v-sync issues? I haven't seen image tearing like that since the 3DFX days.
    5) It does have some very nifty graphical enhancements though, and I can't wait to see what a full next-gen Ninja Gaiden will look like on either platform. The fire and heat effects look quite nice.
    F) SIXAXIS ninpo = FTL
    G) Being able to use items without pausing and going into a menu is a cool extra, but in that "I'm about to die" moment, I don't know if I can spare the extra half second to do so before those damn fish eat me to pieces.
EDIT: It seems that EZBoard doesn't like Greek characters on the subject line.
EDIT2: Okay, the guy does speak, at least a little.
They also made some of the puzzles and jumps easier.
Rachel also seems to have doubled the jiggle counter compared to the DOAX2 girls.

So do they hit her in the face now or what?

Not quite, but you only need to take two steps, and they won't stop swaying back and forth for a full twenty seconds.

It also seems that they've increased the number of save locations, and added quite a few extra shops to stock up on supplies. I still haven't had enough time to finish the game yet though, so I don't know if they remain on the hard modes.
One other (minor) beef I have is with the loading and saving of games. Not only are there those mid-room load times (surprise, there's an enemy behind the corner when it pauses a sec to load!), but the redundancy of it is a little too silly at times.
Here's an example: When you load your game, the load status bar crawls up to 100% and the screen says load complete. What did it load? A loading screen! Wonderful! I hate it when my loading screen fails to load up!
The same deal happens when you save too. After you pick your save slot and wait for the bar to fill up, you're greeted with a "Save Complete" message on the screen. Can you guess what follows? That's right, a screen that says "Now Saving"! Brilliant!

TN probably dedicated an SPU to each breast.
Load times are something I wish more thought had been given to in the generational jump. Doesn't Sigma have the option to install either part or almost all of the game to the HD? Which did you choose?

On any game that has given me the option, I have installed whatever data it can to the HDD. Ninja Gaiden obviously uses it, since the HDD light blinks often enough, but I don't know if it's only loading game data from the drive or the disc as well.
Oh, another gripe, since I'm deciding to pick on this game right now: FMVs.
Sigma uses the same FMVs as the original XBOX version, although some aren't needed since parts are being done in-game for certain scenes. But I don't mean to say that they're just using the same cutscenes, redone for the PS3...it appears that they're using the exact same data as the XBOX version. As in, the old SD cinematics are being output at HD resolution, with a generous amount of jaggies filling the screen (bad upscaling?). For some reason, Tecmo got lazy and decided to do this instead of re-rendering them in full HD. After seeing some beautiful HD FMVs at the end of DOA4 (you know, on that obsolete DVD format), I'm a little disappointed that Ninja Gaiden was snubbed like this.
