Jeez, if you're that ashamed at buying it, get it online. One of my friends didn't feel bad about going into FYE and getting a copy of the Little Mermaid DVD even with us poking fun at him the whole time. Heh, UMASS will hear about it though.
ooo if you get my neighbour tortoro you gotta get the yamada family movie as well.!! ahh i love his work.. its so homely and.. cute ^o^http://geekfood.dknx.net
If shame is on your mind, you can be rest assured there is no shame in going up to the store counter and ask for "My Neighbor Totoro". ALL of Miyazaki's animated movies have become cult classics, and "Totoro" has even been listed by Akira "Seven Samurai" Kurosawa's as one of the greatest movies of all time. "Totoro" is a movie made not just for kids, for those who have been kids at some point in their lives.
On the other hand, if inconvenience is on your mind, check out amazon.com. The DVD may not be out yet, but you can get the video tape.
WAIT! What the fuck?! They DO sell it in the store???
I've always had the impression it was never released...
