I went to see Kill Bill last night, and I'm still undecided about whether I actually liked it or not. Anyone else seen it/have an opinion?

I've seen it. I thought it was quite distasteful coming out of the cinemas, but the next day i thought it was good. So.. bleh.. I still think it's quite good.
I know what you mean, actually. A some of it I thought was quite distasteful (although oddly enough, that doesn't include much of the actual violence o_0) although I can't decide whether I thought it was clever filmmaking or just Quentin Tarrantino parading his ego.

I'll withold final judgement until I see part 2, although I already wish the movie had been left intact in the first place.

I thought it could have been a really cool movie if they had taken it a little bit more seriously, but the stupidly over the top stuff made me stop caring about what was going on every time. Also, it really bugged me that Uma Thurman managed to kill Lucy Liu, since the latter was obviously a better fighter (both the character and the actress).

B) Even based on the trailers, it was quite obvious that Uma Thurman's sole purpose is to...Kill Bill. Since the trailer also showed the four henchmen, it's fairly easy to assume that they will be killed before Bill.![]()
