I am very positive on this because I read this somewhere. Squaresoft will not be releasing english and Japanese voices in the American version. Unlike "the Bouncer", If you all remember, the voices were done FIRST before any actual final gameplay engines/modes were finished. So, if you got the Japanese version you had the ability to play it in english and Japanese and the same over in America. I herd that the english dubbing has just started for FFX, and considering that the game is going to be released in a matter of weeks.(last time I checked the release calendar) Don't hold your breath on it.

Considering that Square got the lip-synch down in "the Bouncer" I'm sure it will be fine. (Not like Onimusha)

It really depends on how good the voice actor is. USing both Japanese and English in FFx would be a good idea. In Sonic2 the vocies get really annoying, and very bad. Luckly they included the Japanese voice (much better than the English) along with Enlish subs (and others).

Have u heard the japanese voices of the characters yet??
The voices actually fit the characters and the characters' personalities very well
(even tho i dun know jap)
But i ahve never heard the english voices yet..
Has Square announced who will be the english voice actors for FFX yet?

You know how FFX is supposed to be released in 2 versions? a normal version and a delux edition if u will... if thats on 2 DVDs isnt there a possibility of jap/english tracks in the one game?
